Hot Pink Delorean exploded on the electro/ indie dance scene in 2008 with a series of original tunes and remixes including a remix of “Boyz” by MIA that received play from DJs around the world, including DJ AM, who dropped it at the 2008 MTV VMAs.

In the last year, Hot Pink Delorean has hammered the blogs and the rest of the internet with remixes for labels such as Iheartcomix, Ninja Tune and Pieces of Eight and artists such as Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Q-tip, projects featuring Mike Patton and Hieroglyphics, Hollywood Holt, Totally Michael, the Qemists and more. The group currently has remixes of Static X, the Faint, the Millionaires, Mic Terror and Designer Drugs on deck for release in the near future.

After doing so much remix work and pounding the blogs with originals and remixes alike, Hot Pink Delorean is finally close to finishing their debut full length LP entitled, “I AM WHAT PORNO SHOULD BE”.

This EP is the first installment of a 12 song LP. It is as diverse as you would expect a Hot Pink Delorean EP to be. From the fidget influenced dance floor destroyer “Party Favour”, made with HPD’s friend Fantastadon, to the ripping synths and rock influenced group vocals of the dance-rock anthem “Let’s Get Free”, to the funky rap influenced nu disco sounds of “Legends”, to the French influenced rockin sounds of “Field Agent” all the tunes on the EP have one thing in common; they are made to rock the dance floor!
